Interim Superintendent Jack DeTalvo takes the AC job for 5 minutes .... then bails out for Middletown, NJ ... saying: "It was a non-brainer." He toured the district one time with Board President Beebe-Thomas and took another position that same night. 9/12/99
Regarding the transfer of Atlantic City Board of Education Distance Learning equipment to the Ventnor City Public Schools .... we have confirmed that Ventnor ordered the wrong equipment ... yet Theresa Kelly politically manuevered to make a deal for the transfer and she says the deal was approved by: you guessed it, Interim Superintendent Jack DeTalvo (who held his job for about 5 minutes) .... 9/12/99
